GEO Basics
GEO is the discipline of optimising your business so that AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity cite and recommend you when users ask relevant questions. Unlike traditional SEO — which helps your pages rank in a list of results — GEO makes your business the answer that AI gives directly, by name.
No — and this is worth being precise about. Traditional SEO optimises for crawlers that index and rank web pages based on relevance signals. GEO optimises for large language models that synthesise information and recommend businesses based on trust, authority depth, and citation consistency across sources.
There's overlap — strong SEO foundation helps GEO — but the specific signals, content formats, and platforms that matter are different. A business could rank #1 on Google and still be completely invisible in AI answers. We've seen it repeatedly.
Our primary focus is ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Perplexity — the three tools with the highest local search query volume. We also monitor Microsoft Copilot as it expands.
The good news: the underlying signals that make you visible in one AI tool tend to carry across all of them. Building genuine category authority is not platform-specific — it compounds across the whole AI search ecosystem.
AI language models are trained on vast datasets and then updated with web data retrieval. When recommending a business, they weight several factors: how often a business is mentioned across trusted sources, the depth and consistency of information available about them, third-party endorsements and citations from credible platforms, and whether that information is structured in a way the model can parse and verify.
Businesses that appear frequently, consistently, and authoritatively across the sources AI models trust get recommended. Businesses without that depth — regardless of how good they actually are — simply don't appear.
They're complementary. GEO doesn't replace SEO — and we'd never recommend abandoning a working SEO strategy. We work alongside your existing team or agency without disrupting what they're doing.
In fact, many of the content infrastructure improvements we make for GEO purposes tend to strengthen traditional SEO performance as a side effect. It's genuinely additive in most cases.
Results & Timelines
Typically 60–90 days for measurable movement in AI mention frequency — meaning your brand starts appearing in AI responses for queries it didn't appear in before. Full category authority, where you're consistently recommended across a broad set of relevant queries, usually takes around 6 months.
We'll set specific baseline metrics at the start of the engagement so you always have a clear before/after picture. We don't deal in vague "brand awareness" outcomes.
We use structured query testing — a repeatable monthly framework where we ask ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity hundreds of queries relevant to your category and location, then log every response. We track: how often your brand appears, the specific context it appears in (recommended, mentioned, cited), which queries you're winning vs. competitors, and movement over time.
You receive a plain-English monthly report. No jargon, no spreadsheets you can't interpret. Just clear movement data and what we're doing about it.
We don't guarantee specific mention counts — no credible agency should, because AI model behaviour has variables outside anyone's direct control. What we do commit to is measurable, documented movement against your baseline within 90 days, for businesses in categories where GEO is applicable. If we don't believe we can move the needle for your specific situation, we'll tell you before you sign anything.
Concretely: a local legal practice going from appearing in 2 of 20 test queries to 14 of 20 over 90 days. A home services business getting calls from customers who say "ChatGPT recommended you." A clinic appearing in Gemini responses for "best [specialty] near [city]" when they previously didn't appear at all.
We'll publish full case studies from our founding cohort once the 90-day sprint is complete. In the meantime, early testimonials are on our homepage.
Pricing
Early accesss pay , locked for 12 months from the start of the engagement. Standard post-launch pricing will be . There are 5 early access spots total.
The founding price is lower for two explicit reasons: we're building our case study library, and at this stage you're working directly with the founders — not an account management layer. Both parties get something from that arrangement.
Two reasons, and we prefer to be direct about both. First, we're a new agency building our proof of concept — early accesss let us document results, publish case studies, and build credibility. That has value to us, and we're sharing it back in the form of lower pricing. Second, during the founding cohort, our senior team is directly embedded in your work. That's a higher-touch engagement than our eventual standard offering, and you're getting it at the early-adopter rate.
The early access engagement is a 3-month minimum, reflecting the realistic timeline for measurable GEO results. After 3 months you can continue on a rolling monthly basis at the locked founding rate. We don't do long lock-in contracts — if we're not delivering, you should be able to leave.
Nothing until we've completed an application review, had an intro call, and mutually agreed on scope, timeline, and expected outcomes. Applying costs nothing. The call costs nothing. You only pay once you've decided you want to proceed — and we've decided you're the right fit.
Our Process
We review your application — usually same day. If it's a fit, we send you a short Loom video showing your current AI visibility gap and an invitation to a 30-minute strategy call. If it's not a fit, we'll tell you honestly and, where possible, point you toward what would actually help. After the call, if both sides want to proceed, we agree on scope and start onboarding.
We do the heavy lifting. Your primary commitment is a 1-hour onboarding call, bi-weekly 30-minute check-ins, and periodic review of the content we produce to ensure accuracy. Most clients spend 2–3 hours per month on AIseohub. We're designed to be low-overhead for your team.
We produce all content as part of the engagement. This includes authority articles, FAQ content, structured data, and third-party placement content. You review and approve before anything is published — we never put words in your mouth without sign-off. Your expertise and specific knowledge about your business feeds our content through the onboarding process and check-ins.
If we haven't delivered measurable movement in AI mention frequency by the end of month 3, we'll work an additional month at no charge. We don't hide behind small print — if we've genuinely done the work and the needle hasn't moved, that's our problem to fix, not yours to absorb.
Is It Right For Me?
The strongest results come from local and regional businesses where customers research before buying and local context matters in the recommendation. Professional services (legal, accounting, consulting), healthcare and wellness (clinics, physio, dental), home services, agencies, hospitality, and education all fit this profile well.
E-commerce brands and SaaS products are more nuanced — GEO still applies but the strategy looks different. We'll tell you in the application whether it's a strong fit for your specific situation.
Not necessarily — in fact, newer businesses sometimes benefit more because there's no entrenched competitor to displace in AI results yet. The key question is whether there's enough information and credibility to build from. If you have a real business with real customers and a real track record, we can work with that. We'll assess this honestly in the application.
Yes. GEO works in any market where AI search tools are used. Our founding cohort includes businesses from India, the UK, and the US. The methodology is the same regardless of geography — the specific platforms and publications we target differ by market, but the underlying approach is identical.
It's not too late — but the window is genuinely narrowing, which is why we're honest about urgency. We've helped businesses displace established AI-visible competitors by building superior authority depth. AI models update their knowledge continuously and respond to new authority signals. A competitor who appears today is not permanently entrenched — but the longer they compound their position, the harder they become to displace. Starting now matters.
